Andy Mydellton Wildlife Zone on Radio Wexham
The Andy Mydellton Wildlife Zone is an award winning programme that is broadcast every Wednesday evening between 19.00 and 21.00 on Radio Wexham. It has been broadcasting since 2005, and is a unique wildlife programme that also covers issues of the environment.

Because everyone has not got access to the Wildlife Zone programme, there will be a shortened version of the programme available here that will cover some of the salient features of the original broadcast. This audio-file will allow everyone to have access to some of the programme, absolutely free of charge, every hour of every day.
Small excerpts of the Wildlife Zone can be viewed on Youtube:-
One section of the programme includes the weekly Featured Subject. Andy Mydellton and Ron Bishop visited the International Union for Conservationists of Nature (IUCN) Headquarters at Glands, Switzerland in 2008. We were advised that many marine animals would face extinction in the forthcoming years. To highlight one part of this huge burgeoning problem, Andy broadcast this item in the Wildlife Zone radio programme's, Environmental Item later that year. We have recorded an episode that is now available to hear; it is a report made by the IUCN. Click here to listen to it
Favourite Wild Animal Poll
FES will help the Wildlife Zone's favourite wild animal that is voted for by the Wildlife Zoners and Radio Wexham listeners.
The leading contenders so far include tiger, humpback whales, giant panda, golden eagle and elephant. So is your favourite animal a fish, mammal or bird? Does it live in the UK, the seas or in the sky?
To vote, send us an email info@wildlifezone.org .
Wildlife Musical Moment
This is either some music that is about or that was inspired by wildlife in some way. Or it is some music that is used to promote wildlife causes such as FES or the International Year of Forests.
